The inaugural ICC Americas U-17 Tournament, originally scheduled for April 1-8, has been shifted to July 8-15 in Florida.

The 2011 scholarship awardees are Prashanth Nair, Casper Davis, Jr., Clifford Hamilton, Neigelle Harper and Reece Gibbs. The two main recipients are Nair and Davis, both current players on the Atlantis roster and members of the club for the past two years. Each of the two players received $1,000 scholarship stipends.

USACA's list of players invited to a men's selection camp from January 19-22 in Fort Lauderdale has changed shape again over the weekend with two new players added to the list while three others have been removed.

A total of 11 players in the camp have yet to appear for the USA senior team. There are also a total of 11 former USA U-19 players receiving invites to the camp. Every player who was part of the USA squad at the 2011 ICC Americas Division One Twenty20 in Florida will participate in the camp except for Timroy Allen.

In a letter to the league presidents on January 3, 2012, Presidential candidate Ram Varadarajan noted that he had filed a formal complaint along with Eastern American Cricket Association (NY) to the USACA board. The complaint is the latest in a series of events that was triggered by the notification by the board that it had decided to postpone the constitutionally required elections.

Sources have confirmed that at least 24 players have been invited to participate in the camp, pending their availability.
